Before:

• This commercial building had some unique issues with their lighting. The hallways and offices were dark when the employees were not getting enough light.

• Most old light is 18W or 2*26W CFL lamp in a 6” or 8″ recessed can that had a clouded lens. With this clearly not providing sufficient light levels.

One Sharjah company has been calling CESP Lighting team once or twice to make a site survey for their outdoor lights that needed repair. This was costly and on top of that, the light output was poor. Before: 400W-1000W Metal Halides – After: New 150W-300W LED Fixtures

Solution:

New LED fixtures were needed to light the area up sufficiently. CESP lighting team put together a proposal that included a mixture of 150W and 300W LED wallpack, LED flood light and LED area light that would greatly improve the existing lighting and would not need to be serviced for over 5 years.

Once the old metal halides were replaced with LED, the performance had a 40% increase in light levels while saving 72% on energy. The LEDs were set to last 4-5 times longer than the metal halides. The client will reach full payback on the project in less than 1 years.

Goal:

Assessment:

This office had 2×2 and 2×4 lay-in fixtures with T12 lamps. The fixture housings were in good shape, but the lenses were faded therefore affecting the light output and aesthetics of the office. In addition, T12 lamps and ballasts have been phased out of production due to their inefficiencies so at some point they would have to replace those.

Solution:

Retrofit the 2×2 and 2×4 T12 fluorescent fixtures with a CESP LED panel light with two sizes. The reason for the LED Panel light source is to provide a more uniform level of illumination.

2020 is a tough year for everyone,so how to save money is an utmost urgent topic.

Goal:

One Dubai company was lighting their warehouse with several 400-watt metal halide fixtures. Light quality and distribution were poor and they were replacing them more often than they’d like. They were looking for an LED solution to provide them more savings and improve the light quality and distribution.

Results

The clients could have just replaced the 400W HID bulbs to an LED bulb because they want to keep old fitting, but CESP Lighting team proposed new 120W LED Highbay Light fixtures that would be a superior solution with added features. The LED fixtures had motion sensors built-in to help save more energy when areas weren’t occupied. Modern Look With a Dramatic Reduction in Energy

One office in Dubai existing lighting system, consisting of fluorescent bulbs and fixtures embedded in a drop ceiling, was outdated. Age had yellowed and cracked the acrylic lenses, and the fluorescent bulbs – now phased out of production – were no longer economical to replace.

While the need for an upgrade was clearly evident, the company had multiple concerns that prevented any concrete action.

By using LED Panels instead of fluorescent fixtures, the annual savings was 65% and lighting lux level increased 50% compare before. More importantly, the new light performance is more uniform, which is more suitable for modern office working environment. Meanwhile, we reduced some light fitting quantity to avoid much brighter for the people’s eyes.

Waste Money If Not Change Traditional Light.

A total of 220 units Metal Halide Light 400W fixed in a one 20 year-old manufacturing facility at Dubai. In this facility, the owner always change traditional Metal Halide Light, since their working time is around 18 hours per day, so the changing light times are around 2-3 times per year, It is too costly for maintenance and light bulb material.

CESP Lighting team understand the owner’s idea, the cost of such a major upgrade was partially offset by a significant Energy Saving Scheme payback. The upgrade needed to meet the various different requirements for manufacturing areas, workshops,warehouse spaces and loading area.

After supplying and commissioning the whole project, the energy saving rate is around 68%.

CESP LED Street light -Much Saving, Much Brighter

One UAE company upgraded its metal halide fittings to LED in order to raise light levels, lower their operating costs and reduce ongoing maintenance. The replacement fittings were new CESP LED street light which had the required output and the lens options to meet the brief.

Solution:

60 x 400w metal halide fittings were replaced by: – 25 x 150w LED Street light (20,670 lumens) and – 35 x 180w LED Street light (24,900 lumens).

The fittings featured the new Osram LED chips, producing an impressive 140 lm/W. The lighting plan called for T3M and T4S lenses to be utilised.

The fittings and brackets assembly and installation were very simple and straightforward.

No new poles were needed. The result is a well-lit and more secure car park environment which is fully compliant with relevant pedestrian standards.

Goal:

This company in Dubai has high-level rack warehouses and understands the value of having a warehouse that is well lit. They also pride themselves on being green. So while Triple-A knew that going to LED could result in savings. CESP Lighting team was called in to analyze the viability of LED retrofit solutions with a focus on balancing energy and maintenance savings with added light levels.

Solution:

Light levels within the facility were less than ideal in various parts of the warehouse. The aisles were poorly lit, making it hard to distinguish the items on the shelves. Naturally, with the linear fluorescent, their light levels had decreased over time and required ballast/re-lamping maintenance. CESP Lighting team came in and proposed retrofitting the warehouse from 2*36W fluorescent T8 lamps to 150W LED Highbay light with 60% less lighting fitting quantity.

Results:

Retrofitting the T8 fixtures in the warehouse resulted in a 62% reduction in energy use.. The result was doubled their lux than before and payback was set for 1.2 years.
